Q.
What is HCG?
A.
HCG is a glycoprotein once classified (inaccurately) as a sex hormone. It is naturally produced in the body and carries out many different functions. Medically it is used to treat a variety of conditions. It is a substance produced only in women during pregnancy and in very large quantities. The levels of HCG in a pregnant woman’s body double every two days. Its purpose is to release energy and stored nutrients from her inessential fat stores in order to nourish the growth of the fetus. When HCG is taken into the body of a man or a non-pregnant woman and combined with a specific low calorie food plan, the body releases energy from its inessential fat stores and other chemicals stored there, in the process cleansing the system and enabling the body to burn up these fat stores very rapidly.
In a pregnant woman’s body, between as much as 400,000 and 1 million IU of HCG is produced each day. A minute quantity of HCG, 125 IU, has traditionally been used in injectable form in Cura Romana. Now however, homeopathic HCG is available. This means that, for the very first time, this protocol in a natural, non-drug form is available to everyone. It can be safely and effectively used by both men and women.
